Northview and Rehobeth baseball playing for Cancer awareness

(MGN Online)

Northview baseball and Rehobeth baseball are teaming up to raise money for Relay for Life. Weather permitting, the game is set to be played on April 7th at 6 o'clock at Northview. Each team will wear purple jerseys and socks in honor of cancer survivors and non-survivors. Each player that has been touched with a family member, friend, teacher, etc. with cancer will escort that person out to the foul line before the game. All gate proceeds and donations will be donated to the cause.

Northview head coach Lee Hall, senior pitcher Chase White and senior outfielder Michael Reynolds are a few members of the team that have been affected by cancer. All three are taking the field in honor of their mothers.
