DOTHAN, AL -- Players in two age groups had to dodge the rain during the first day at the Future Masters. A mid-afternoon storm forced a lengthy delay at the Dothan Country Club.

Players in the 13-14 year-old age group were able to complete their rounds on Sunday. Alexander Markham from Dacula, Georgia and Andrew Walker from Battle Creek, Michigan were tied after 18 holes with a -2, 68.
Four more players shot -1, 69s on Sunday. Dothan native Kyle Cornelius is three strokes off the pace, shooting a +1, 71. Other local players in the field include Thomas Speigner from Dothan who shot a 77 and Chase Smith from Dothan who shot an 82.
Play will continue on Monday, as players finish their rounds in the 11-12 year-old age group. Those players and the juniors in the 13-14 year-old division will play their second rounds as well, before the cut is established and the field is set for Tuesday's championship round.
Players in the 10 & Under age group will also hit the course, playing their first nine holes.
