The Wiregrass Cardinals 18u squad was in Panama City this weekend for the National Grand Slam Tournament.

The Cards played a double header today. In the first game, they beat the Cincinnati Stix 8-2. But the Cards lost their second game 5-2 vs. Savannah Chain, eliminating them from the tournament.

The 16U Wiregrass Cardinals also took the diamond at the National Grand Slam Tournament.

Today, they played 3 games. After winning the first 2, they lost their third 6-5. Several errors in the bottom of the 9th led them to the loss. They finish 5th overall out of the 30 teams in the tournament.
