The Wallace Softball Team is in the midst of a busy week. Head Coach Eddie Munn signed his second player in as many days on Tuesday, adding Ranburne star Leah Mobley.
Mobley is a versatile player, who could fit anywhere in the Lady Govs line-up over the next two years.
"Leah (Mobley) is going to be able to bring some leadership to the program," Munn said. "Putting her in the infield or outfield won't matter. She's going to be able to play any position.
"I think she's going to be a big, big part of the program."
Mobley says she's grateful to have the opportunity to continue her career for such a successful program. But, Mobley admits, she still can't believe she's heading to the next level.
"I've always dreamed of playing college softball," Mobley said. "I never thought it would come true, but I guess God had everything planned out for me."
Wallace signed G.W. Long star Lauren Cripple on Monday. The Lady Govs plan to add 15 new players before next season.
