The Dothan Area Botanical Garden Club was treated with a special guest tonight in the form of an SEC coaching legend.
Former Georgia head coach Vince Dooley stopped by to sign books and give some coaching to local gardeners.
Dooley also had a chance to talk some football, and shared his opinions on his son Derek's performance at Tennessee
The Vols coach is considered on the hot seat, and Vince says this is an important year for his son.
"This is a big year for him, very important year for him," Dooley said. "He'll have a more experienced team, he'll have a lesser schedule. I don't care who you are, you're going to go through tough times, either late or early. He's going through some tough times early."
Dooley was also given a key to the city by Mayor Mike Schmitz.
The Georgia legend turned around and gave the key to his wife, saying she was the "key" to his success as a coach.
