Tommy Whitehurst spent his life excelling in athletics. The former Kinston star enjoyed a stellar career at Troy, before going to success as a coach and administrator at Early County High School.
Now, Whitehurst is being honored for his decades of outstanding achievement. Whitehurst is one of ten inductees to this year's class for the Wiregrass Sports Hall of Fame.
He'll be enshrined with his classmates on Saturday, July 14rth at the Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center in Dothan. Tickets are $50 each. For more information, call 699-2172.
