It was announced that the tournament will no longer be known as the Circle City Classic.
Its new name will be the "David Prince Invitational" in honor of the umpire who passed away earlier this year.
Prince was an umpire in the American Legion for more than a decade and was held in high regard by his peers and anyone who met him.
His mother was on hand to accept a plaque in his honor.
