Dothan senior infielder Haley Futch has made her college choice. Futch has signed with Chipola College.
In her only year at Dothan High, Futch helped the Tigers win the Class 6A Area 5 regular season title, hitting .315 with one homer and 29 r.b.i. She transferred to Dothan from Emmanuel Christian and sat out last season.
Futch's older brother played baseball at Chipola. Her ties to the school run even deeper, as she has played for the Indians coaching staff the last four years on an AAU team out of Marianna.
