Ashford High School has made a decision about it's head football coaching position. The school is expected to recommend Mitch Sellers to the Houston County School Board on Monday.
Sellers has been an assistant football coach at Ashford since 2004. He's also served as Ashford's Middle School Football Coach in the past.
Sellers is currently the head coach of the Ashford Softball Team, which just advanced to the Gulf Shores Regional Tournament. He would replace Chip Harris, who resigned in April to become the new head coach at Chipley.
The Houston County School Board will rule on Ashford's recommendation at it's meeting on Monday night.
