Troy to Begin Season Without D.J. Taylor

The Troy Football Team will begin the season without one of it's top offensive players. Multiple Sources are reporting, senior running back D.J. Taylor will miss the Trojans opener at UAB on September 1st.

Taylor has been battling heat-related health issues during training camp. He'll miss the UAB game, and could be held out of the Trojans home opener against Louisiana-Lafayette as well.

Taylor could make his season debut at home against Mississippi State on September 15th. He ran for 367 yards and six touchdowns last season.
