MOBILE, Alabama -- When he looks back on the season thus far, Troy head coach Larry Blakeney sees opportunities that were not seized, games that could have been won that were lost.
When he looks ahead to Saturday's final regular season game at Middle Tennessee, he sees another opportunity and a game the Trojans must win if they hope to avoid a losing season and have a chance at receiving a bowl invitation.
"It frustrates me that we could be 11-0,'' Blakeney said Monday at his weekly press conference. "I had a buddy the other day that follows us really closely tell me, 'If I could take one play out of each game, we would be undefeated.' That's the frustrating part for me, we've been so close, but no cigar. Sometime that's the way I guess it just happens.''
