MOBILE, Alabama -- Troy's 55-48 loss at Tennessee last week is one that takes a little extra time to get over.
But Trojans' head coach Larry Blakeney has preached to his team that its full attention is needed in preparing for its next opponent, Navy. The Trojans and Midshipmen will meet at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium, one of two straight home games for Troy and one of the Trojans' final three regular-season games of the year.
Blakeney said the team snapped back with a good Sunday practice and has been working to get ready for a Navy team that defeated the Trojans 42-14 last year in Annapolis. And yet coming off a strong offensive game, but one in which the defense and special teams struggled, still leaves it mark. And the loss to the Vols still lingers a bit.
