MOBILE, Alabama -- The Troy Trojans will find a team with similarities, at least statistically, standing on the opposing sideline when they travel to Knoxville to face the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday. Neither team is where they hoped to be at this point in the season - Troy is 4-4 overall and 3-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Vols are 3-5 and 0-5 in SEC games.
Both teams are looking to bounce back from tough losses. Troy lost a 34-27 decision at Florida Atlantic on Saturday, the first league win of the season for the Owls who scored a touchdown with 17 seconds left in the game to beat the Trojans. Tennessee is coming off a tough 38-35 loss at South Carolina.
