The Troy football team wants to fill up Veteran's stadium this Saturday.

The Trojans will host Louisiana-Lafayette, and troy's goal is simple, get 30,000 fans in the house.

Troy hoped to spark interest in the game Thursday by holding a pep rally at Sartain Hall.

Trojan players, the Troy band, and head coach Larry Blakeney were on hand to get fans fired up for the first Sun Belt game of the year.

Blakeney has called this one of the team's most important home games in recent memory, and he's calling all Trojan fans to show up on Saturday night to support the program.

"Louisiana Lafayette team that beat us down there in front of a record crowd. We want to be sure we have a record crowd here this year so we can return the favor. We're going to get ready regardless, but it sure would be nice to fill it up," Blakeney said.

Troy will host Louisiana-Lafayette at 6:00 on Saturday night.
