Shon Coleman Starting On Auburn O-Line Against Arkansas

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Shon Coleman says he always believed that one day he would start for Auburn, even when he went from five-star recruit to cancer patient as a high school senior.

Coleman's time has finally come. He'll be the Tigers' starting left tackle Saturday against Arkansas and get a chance to show why he was one of the nation's top prospects before being diagnosed with leukemia in the spring of 2010.

Coleman says he never doubted it would happen. He says faith has "been one of the biggest things that's just kept striving me forward." He's replacing No. 2 NFL draft pick Greg Robinson.

Coleman played in seven games last season, including the BCS championship against Florida State.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn says you have to "root for a guy like that."
