The SEC is said to be the most dominant conference of them all. This week's AP Top 25 poll further supports that theory.

With 8 teams, the conference has set a record for the most schools in the AP college football poll.

Alabama still comes in at No. 1. LSU moved up from No. 10 to No. 6 with a win over Florida. The Gators dropped to No. 22. Georgia fell out of the top 10 and into No. 15. Missouri moved up to No. 14 after their big win over the Bulldogs.

With Michigans exit, the Auburn Tigers made their first appearance since 2011 at No. 24. Some voters ranked them as high as No. 17.
