Birmingham, Ala. -- The 2013 season will usher in a new era in Southeastern Conference men’s basketball as the league welcomes Missouri and Texas A&M while also returning to an 18-game league schedule. The SEC unveiled its 2013 composite league schedule Friday with each of the 126 contests being broadcast live.

Almost half of the SEC’s league games will be distributed nationally with ESPN or ESPN2 televising 31 contests, ESPNU showing 18 and CBS Sports five. Additionally, nine games will be offered on ESPN3. The SEC’s games on ESPN platforms are exclusively branded as the “SEC on ESPN.”

Regionally-syndicated games will be televised on the SEC Network as part of ESPN Regional Television (ERT). The SEC Network will televise 40 intra-conference games while Fox Sports Net will show 13 contests and CSS 10. The majority of games not televised nationally will be available as a part of ESPN Full Court, the pay subscription college basketball out-of-market service, and on ESPN3. In addition, ERT will produce and distribute a studio show each Saturday afternoon during conference play and at the SEC Tournament.

The SEC Basketball Tournament semifinals and championship game will be broadcast nationally on ABC. The SEC Network will televise the tournament games on Wednesday and Thursday in addition to the Friday night games. ESPNU will televise the two afternoon games on Friday at the tournament which this year will be played March 13-17 in Nashville, Tenn.
