AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn defensive end Corey Lemonier, a junior, will declare early for the NFL Draft, according to a Twitter report from ESPN's Joe Schad quoting Lemonier.

Lemonier, a 6-4, 243-pound defensive end, told Schad he may be a third-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and that he plans to leave early for the NFL Draft, although he told Schad his three years in Auburn were the best of his life.

Auburn could not immediately confirm Lemonier's decision.
