No. 7 Auburn controls its destiny in SEC West race

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Don't even bother mentioning the Iron Bowl to Auburn. The seventh-ranked Tigers refuse to that far ahead.
After a 55-23 victory over Tennessee on Saturday, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said, "We'll enjoy this one. That's the only thing on our minds. That's been our mindset all year."
Auburn's businesslike mindset and potent rushing attack have helped the Tigers (9-1, 5-1 SEC) produce college football's biggest turnaround.
One year after going 3-9 and failing to earn a single SEC victory, Auburn is in control of its destiny in the Western Division race. If Auburn beats No. 25 Georgia next weekend, it would set the stage for a Nov. 30 Iron Bowl showdown with top-ranked Alabama.
Both Georgia and Alabama must travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium. Auburn already has completed its road schedule.
