Johnathon Mincy Enters Pre-Trial Diversion Program after June Arrest

Auburn cornerback Johnathon Mincy has entered a pre-trial diversion program according to a motion filed in Henry County.

Mincy was arrested and charged with second degree possession of marijuana on June 27th.

Mincy was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for speeding when officers found marijuana.

By entering the diversion program Mincy will pay $1,156 dollars in fines and will avoid going to court.

Gus Malzahn has not announced the details of Mincy's status with the Auburn football team but has said that Mincy will pay the consequences of his actions.

Mincy made 56 tackles, one interception and broke up 14 passes last season.
