Gus Malzahn and company are treking their way through the state. Today, a stop in Eufaula.
The first year head coach visited the Wiregrass for his fifth destination of the eight-stop roadtrip.
Malzahn is taking time off the field to interact with fans and Tiger alumni...all to raise money for Auburn student scholarships.
Coach took a few minutes on the Trek to talk business about the upcoming season.
"Anytime you change offensive philosophies, it takes a while for the players, even if you recruited guys to play a certain offense. Early in spring you could tell that. We got better and better," Malzahn stated.
He is saying goodbye to last year's ways, and hello to a more familiar fast paced game.
"Our guys started to understand the pace that we needed..probably mid way through spring.. We've still got some work to but I like the direction we're going. "
Auburn, with their new offensive style, will take the field for the first game August 31st vs. Washington State.
