In addition to talking about facing number one Florida State in the BCS National Championship, Gus Malzahn elaborated on some of the newest faces to sign with Auburn.

Auburn’s early class of junior college transfers will include Wide Receiver D’haquille Williams and defensive lineman DaVonte Lambert. Lambert was originally committed to Tennessee before flipping to the Tigers.

Another defensive addition from the JUCO ranks is Derrick Moncrief, a big safety from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Xavier Dampeer, a center prospect from Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi.

Malzahn spoke about the early junior college signings in today’s press conference.
