After months of speculation that Muscle Shoals defensive lineman Dee Liner was no longer firm in his commitment to Auburn, the 6-foot-2, 275-pound prospect confirmed on Monday night that his commitment to the Tigers has ended.

"I de-committed from Auburn today," Liner told Rivals.com. "I'm going to make my decision on signing day. I had to do what's best for me and I appreciate what Auburn is and has done for me. I appreciate them, I just have to do what's best for me.
