AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Chris Denson has been on a scoring tear lately.
The acrobatic guard is the first Auburn player to score 25-plus points in four consecutive games in 25 years. He'll put that streak to the test Wednesday night against No. 2 Florida.
Denson is averaging 27.5 points and double-digit free throw attempts over the last four games.
He said Tuesday that he's been letting the game come to him instead of forcing the issue "and it's come with good results."
Denson has been the biggest bright spot for the struggling Tigers (12-11, 4-8 Southeastern Conference), especially lately. He's leading the Southeastern Conference in scoring at 20.9 points per game.
Keenan Carpenter scored at least 25 five games in a row during the 1988-89 season.
