DAPHNE, Alabama -- Bayside Academy linebacker/running back Jonathan Walton has become a hot commodity.

The 6-foot-1, 227-pound senior, who has been committed to Penn State, has added offers from Auburn, Tennessee and South Carolina in recent days.

"We kind of knew this was going to happen," Bayside Academy coach Phil Lazenby said. "Once a couple of schools start jumping on board, it is like sharks with blood in the water. They all get on board. I don't know what Jonathan will do. He's committed to Penn State, and he likes it there. We'll have to see what happens."
