All-SEC Pre-Season Teams Announced

HOOVER, AL -- The SEC released it's list of pre-season teams, as voted by media members. Alabama is the pre-season pick to win the SEC Championship, receiving 182 first place votes.

The Crimson Tide placed 16 players on the pre-season All-SEC Teams, led by first team selections Amari Cooper, T.J. Yeldon, Cyrus Kouandjio and Anthony Steen on offense. Tide defensive stars C.J. Mosley, Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix and Deion Belue earned first team honors as well.

Media members tabbed Auburn to finish fifth in the SEC West Division. The Tigers placed no players on the pre-season All-SEC First Team, but had six players selected overall.

LSU offensive lineman and former Houston Academy star Josh Williford earned third team pre-season honors.

* - Since 2000, Arkansas’ Darren McFadden is the only unanimous selection to the SEC Media Days Team, collecting all 80 votes.
