Christion Jones was a man of many roles before he started receiving snaps at cornerback during the spring.

The position experiment was simply the cherry on top for the Alabama junior, who was one of 44 players from across the nation named to the Paul Hornung Award watch list. This particular honor goes to college football's most versatile player.

West Virginia's Tavon Austin won the Paul Hornung Award in 2012.

Scouting services considered Jones to be a defensive back out of Minor High, but he's made his biggest impact at wide receiver. He caught three passes as a true freshman before embracing a role as the Crimson Tide's starting slot receiver in 2012, as he hauled in 27 passes for 368 yards and four touchdowns -- totals that each ranked third on the team.
