TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- The University of Alabama has lifted a campus alert that was issued after an armed individual was reported at the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house.
University spokesman Chris Bryant reported that as of noon Tuesday that Tuscaloosa police had one person in custody off campus. He said no one was injured on campus and university officials have advised students, faculty and staff that they can resume normal activities.
Bryant said no students were involved in the incident.
