Before he went to the San Diego Zoo and saw Richard Simmons, former Alabama right tackle D.J. Fluker experienced some mixing and matching along the offensive line during his first mini camp with the Chargers.
At times, Fluker, whom the Chargers selected with the 11th overall pick, worked with the second team, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Enough questions have been raised about Fluker's place on the offensive line, particularly when it pertains to a potential switch to guard, that Chargers coach Mike McCoy was prompted to clarify the former Crimson Tide leader's place on the line.
"Anything is possible," McCoy told reporters after Wednesday's mini camp. "But where he is right now is where we think we are keeping him."
