MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- Alabama coach Nick Saban says freshman cornerback Tony Brown will learn from his recent arrest.
Saban said Tuesday during a visit to see his players at Senior Bowl practice that Brown is "a fine young man (and) we're glad to have him in the program." Brown was arrested Saturday night and charged with failure to obey and resisting arrest.
Saban says Brown's punishment will be geared toward making sure he learns from the incident.
Brown's arrest was part of an already eventful offseason for the Crimson Tide. Five underclassmen declared for the draft, including a surprise departure by safety Vinnie Sunseri.
Sunseri missed much of last season with a knee injury and isn't regarded as a high draft pick.
Quarterback Luke Del Rio and running back Alvin Kamara are transferring.
