Dothan star Marquez White, a four-star cornerback for Northview High School, has garnered the same level of attention of some of his fellow in-state stars this year, in part because of his decision to leave the state for his college career. White's commitment to Florida State has remained solid thus far but other schools continue to pursue the 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back, including both Alabama and Tennessee.
White will get the chance to see both teams in person when he visits Knoxville to watch the two rivals face off. The trip will be an unofficial visit but White told Noles247 that he plans to take an official visit to Tennessee after the season, along with official visits to Florida State, Alabama and Indiana.
