It's become an annual tradition that elicits two kinds of emotions from Nick Saban.
The Alabama coach used the terms "exciting" and "sad" to describe how he felt as he made the rounds at the Crimson Tide's jam-packed Pro Day.
"You have such great relationships with all these players and hate to see them leave," Saban said. "You certainly do appreciate the great job they've done of representing the program while you're here, but you're also extremely excited and happy for them to be able to have an opportunity to fulfill their dream of being able to play at the next level."
In a group interview session with beat reporters, Saban hit on a number of topics, including the importance of measurables, his distaste for the reports surrounding Cyrus Kouandjio's long-term health and Rolando McClain's potential comeback.
