TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — Most Nick Saban news conferences start out with the post-practice locker room speech to the players.

That held up Wednesday after Alabama's 10th spring practice of the year. These would be the dog days of spring and his opening statement reflected it.

"Alabama football's supposed to be a tough, physical team that nobody really likes to play against," Saban said. "That's been our identity.
