SALINE, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan running back Fitzgerald Toussaint has pleaded guilty to drunken driving.

Toussaint agreed to a plea deal Tuesday in Washtenaw County District Court. He pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while visibly impaired, a lesser charge than operating while intoxicated.

Coach Brady Hoke has not said whether Toussaint will play for the eighth-ranked Wolverines against second-ranked and defending champion Alabama on Saturday night. Toussaint is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 23, just after Michigan hosts Michigan State and prior to its game at Nebraska.

Toussaint was stopped for running a red light on July 21. He acknowledged having a blood-alcohol level of 0.12 percent, above the state limit of 0.08.
