Alabama received an unofficial visit from one of the state's top prospects over the weekend when Dothan-area star Marquez White dropped into Tuscaloosa for a multi-day visit with several members of his family. White has been committed to Florida State since May but he remains open-minded to other schools, particularly the in-state Crimson Tide.
In an interview with BamaOnline's Charles Power, White said he and his family spoke at length with Nick Saban and watched some of the Tide's Saturday scrimmage. Among the topics discussed with the coaching staff was the role White would play at Alabama, something Saban said could be flexible.
