NEW ORLEANS - The football team held a two-hour practice in full pads Sunday afternoon at the New Orleans Saints Indoor Training Facility in Metairie, La. It was the Crimson Tide's 11th practice in preparation for its matchup against Oklahoma in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 2, 2014.
"Practice is going great," said sophomore wide receiver Amari Cooper. "We're doing the things we're supposed to do to be successful in the game. I've been trying to watch film and practice well to get prepared for the game."
Alabama has sold 19,500 tickets for the bowl game. The school sold its original allotment of 17,000 before requesting and selling an additional 2,500 tickets.
