Alabama picked up its 22nd commitment of the 2013 recruiting class on Wednesday morning as Fort Lauderdale defensive back Eddie Jackson announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide through his high school football team's official Twitter account. Jackson, who is rated a four-star prospect by ESPN and 247Sports, chose the Tide over LSU.
Jackson, who played both wide receiver and cornerback at Boyd Anderson High School, is rated the nation's No. 5 athlete prospect by 247Sports and the No. 21 player in the state of Florida. Jackson took an official visit to Alabama on January 18 and also received an in-home visit from Nick Saban on January 23.
