AUBURN, Alabama -- Gus Malzahn expected more out of his players Wednesday, the Auburn Tigers' first day back on the practice fields following a three-day break.
"It was sluggish. There's no doubt," the coach said.
The Tigers looked sluggish early in practices, and the pace apparently continued when the doors were closed to reporters Wednesday morning.
"This is probably the first time that I wasn't pleased overall with attitude, effort, our approach to practice," Malzahn said. "I told the guys afterward we've got to do better."
