The Alabama Football Team has lost out on one of it's top recruiting targets. Gunner Kiel has informed several websites he would committ to Indiana, according to 247sports.com.
The highly-touted quarterback prospect for the 2012 signing was pursued by Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee and USC. Kiel, from Columbus (Ind.) East, told reporters at the Elite 11 less than two weeks ago he would commit prior to his senior season.
Kiel was considered by many to be the top quarterback prospect in the country. He threw for roughly 2,700 yards and 36 touchdowns as a junior.
