Tennessee to Discipline Austin Johnson for Arrest

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee coach Derek Dooley says he's
internally handling linebacker Austin Johnson's punishment for an
arrest on public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges.

Dooley said Monday that Johnson will face several punishments but will still practice with the Vols when they open their fall camp on Tuesday.

Johnson, who will be a senior and is expected to start and be a leader on Tennessee's young defense, was arrested July 24. Dooley
says the entire team was shocked and disappointed to learn of Johnson's arrest because the 22-year-old had never caused any
trouble before.

Johnson allegedly tried to start a fight and hit cars while walking in a parking lot behind a Knoxville bar. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
