KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee backup quarterback Nash Nance
is recovering from surgery on his left foot.

It is uncertain whether Nance, a freshman from Calhoun, Ga., who
redshirted during the 2010 season, will be ready for the
Volunteers' spring practice.

Tennessee director of sports medicine Jason McVeigh says Nance's
recovery from last week's surgery is expected to take between six
and eight weeks.
