AUBURN, Alabama -- Findlay Prep small forward Dion Wade signed his national letter of intent on Wednesday, bringing Auburn's basketball signing class to five players and creating questions about the sixth commitment, power forward Matthew Atewe.
An Auburn spokesman confirmed Thursday that Wade had signed on Wednesday, a formality after Wade tweeted a picture of himself signing the letter of intent.
"Finally signed my LOI today," Wade tweeted Wednesday. "Hungry for success next season!"
