AUBURN, Alabama -- Two Montgomery TV stations reported that Auburn president Jay Gogue said Tuesday that an announcement on a new football coach will likely come either tonight or tomorrow.

WAKA and WSFA both reported that Gogue, who was speaking at a Kiwanis Club Meeting in Montgomery, said that Auburn would name a new coach within the next 24 hours.

"Late today or tomorrow we will be in position to announce a coach," Gogue said. according to WSFA.
