AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn quarterback Jonathan Wallace may be looking elsewhere for playing time. The sophomore, who is still in a battle for the starting quarterback position, wants to be the Tiger's backup holder on kicks and in special situations.

If there's a fake or foul weather conditions, Wallace would be the man. He's someone who can make the play instead of break it. He's been working with the kickers during fall camp but Senior Ryan White is still holding on to the starting spot. White and kicker Cody Parkey have developed a chemistry over the three year span they've worked together.

Parkey says that Wallace is a work in progress and that he's teaching him as much as he can. He's happy to have a solid guy behind White.
