MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- Alabama linebacker Nico Johnson thinks he got a bad rap because he often rotated with All-American C.J. Mosley.
Johnson's mission leading up to Saturday's Senior Bowl is to show "that I'm a much better player than what people think."
By some counts, the two-time defending national champion Crimson Tide will have as many as four players chosen in the first round of the NFL draft. Senior Bowl participants Johnson, tight end Michael Williams, safety Robert Lester and longsnapper Carson Tinker aren't that highly rated.
Offensive linemen D.J. Fluker and Barrett Jones couldn't play because of injuries and Chance Warmack and Jesse Williams declined invitations. Juniors tailback Eddie Lacy and cornerback Dee Milliner aren't eligible.
Johnson and Lester were key players on the defense, but were overshadowed by bigger stars.
