LSU Opens Training Camp With Heavy Heart

LSU kicked off training camp on Thursday, and did so on a somber note. Steve Kragthorpe stepped down as offensive coordinator, after announcing he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.

Kragthorpe will remain at the school as LSU's Quarterbacks Coach. Greg Studrawa has been promoted to Offensive Coordinator, replacing Kragthorpe.

That's a rocky beginning for the 4th-ranked Tigers, who have just 29 days until their season opener in Dallas against 3rd-ranked Oregon.
