The Auburn Football Team has been pursuing Jeremy Johnson for more than a year. On Sunday night, the Tigers got the call for which they had been waiting and hoping.
The Carver-Montgomery quarterback verbally committed to Auburn, picking the Tigers over LSU and Ole Miss among others. Johnson is a four-star recruit, who's thrown for more than 5,000 yards and 48 touchdowns during his high school career.
He's also a coveted basketball recruit, and Johnson says he may try to play both sports for Auburn. Johnson is Auburn's 9th verbal commitment for the 2013 recruiting class.
