BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee can go along
in shedding the nickname "pick six" when the No. 12 Tigers invade
On the heels of his late-game heroics in a 16-14 victory over
Tennessee last weekend, Lee is expected to see significant action
against the 14th-ranked Gators in Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday
As a freshman in 2008, Lee threw 16 interceptions, seven of
which were returned for touchdowns. Lee says he's matured and
learned a lot more about reading defenses since then.
The Swamp will provide as good a proving ground as Lee could
get. The Gators lead the nation with 12 interceptions, three of
which they've returned for score.
