ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Georgia coach Mark Fox has signed John
Cannon, a center from Burnsville, N.C.

Cannon (6-10, 225) averaged 21.9 points, 12.3 rebounds and 6.5
blocks at Mountain Heritage High School.

Fox says Cannon has "good size and good skills for a young, big
man."

Earlier in the spring signing period, Fox signed forward Nemanja
Djurisic, a native of Montenegro who finished his high school
career in South Kent, Conn.

Fox signed three players in November: guard Kentavious
Caldwell-Pope, from Greenville, Ga.; forward Tim Dixon, from
Columbus, Ga.; and 7-foot center John Florveus, from Fort Myers,
Fla.

The spring signing period ends on May 18.
