ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Mark Richt still isn't saying if linebacker Alec Ogletree and safety Bacarri Rambo will be suspended when No. 6 Georgia opens its season Saturday against Buffalo.
When asked Tuesday what he expected Saturday from the two defensive leaders, Richt smiled and said "Time will tell."
Rambo led the Southeastern Conference with eight interceptions last season. His high school coach said in March Rambo failed a drug test after he inadvertently ate marijuana-laced brownies.
Ogletree reportedly faces a suspension for violation of team rules.
Rambo and Ogletree are listed as starters on Georgia's depth chart.
Athletic director Greg McGarity said Tuesday Richt and other coaches must announce disciplinary measures only when players have been arrested. When players break team or university rules, McGarity says the coach decides if discipline is announced.
